I used to have the same problem what i do now is when i brush my teeth i put some Vaseline on my lips then wet my brush again w/warm water and brush your lips for about a minute softly though, after that i use Vaseline it is great for the winter i also use the new chap stick they came out with it is called all natural it is in a beige tube and it has vitamins and all the good stuff. This should work make sure you exfoliate lips in the morning and at night and put Vaseline on at night also.

Mary Kay lip balm is AMAZING! I have never found another product that actually moisturizes my lips without making them feel gloppy or gooey. When my lips get really dry I use sugar in a base of honey (mix it well so it becomes kind of a paste) as a lip scrub. I then use Too Faced lip mask to continue to exfoliate/soften my lips, then I use the Mary Kay lip balm. Yummy lips! My husband even loves the lip balm (and he hates most brands)!

When you go to bed, slather on some vaseline then during the day, i always use carmex. I can't use the thinner chapsticks but carmex is the one that has always worked for me. It just feels better when the chapstick is thick. Aveeno is also a good brand.

Get Lanolin Ointment, or any lip balm with Lanolin as an ingredient, I have never seen anything heal cracked or burnt lips faster. The SafeWay Brand of lipbalm has lanolin.

Another product I use for my kids lips is the Eucerin Aquaphor, it's fantastic for everything from cuts, cracks, scraps to burns.

Drink a lot of water to re-hydrate your body and try Rosebud salve. It's 6.00 at Sephora.com.I use it and think it works better than Blistex and Carmex.

Those are only tempory solutions. Drink more water is a good one and cut out the soda's. Also try eating foods with Essential fatty acids found in foods like salmon, vegetable oils, walnuts, and flaxseed. Also try a treatment that contains plumping peptides or anti aging grape seed polyphenols
