Yes! I think that Paula is being very rude. She rolls her eyes, and looks disgusted right in front of people, and that is the worst, because they aren't saying anything, but you are getting the message!
And when Simon said that kid looked like a monkey, that was just uncalled for! Especially when he looks like a big white bear, with black facial hair!
Even Randy was rude, but not as rude as the others.
I heard that they stayed up til three drinking the ngiht before a tryout day!

Simon makes alot of money looking for talent and what will sell. He has been very successful at his job. Those contestants know exactly how Simon is on the judging and they choose to do it. They know it could lead to a slam on them and the talent they think they have. The boy he insulted that was mentally disabled. What family lets a mentally disabled boy go on something that they know is so harsh??? Its not like this is a new thing AMERICAN IDOL. Simon attacking the person personally, as far as looks. Thats the business. He knows what sells and what doesn't. Those contestants know that Simon is harsh and still go on there hoping for a chance. Thats their choice, however, its also Simons job to speak his mind. I think he is brillant. You may think its harsh but thats his job. Thats why he is making good money and we are left typing online complaining about it.

It's something called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Ok, well maybe Simon went a little overboard when he said that guy looked like a monkey, but Simon isn't the nicest person on the planet, you know. Also, the judges go through a VERY long day of hearing horrible singers. How would you feel? Exhausted, right?

I think they are just as harsh as they have been previously. I think people forget how brutal it is in the beginning because the show ends on such a high note with someone being crowned the American Idol. Every year there is talk of how mean the judges are--the show has been on for 6 years. We, the viewers, and the people auditioning know what to expect from the show.

All I think is Simon crazy . Paula and other guy are fine. I think people who turn up for auditions , some of them just make mockery of singing others are quite good but in judges opinion they are not too good to go to Hollywood. Well! thats's what I think.

Not at all, but yes I guess at times Simon can be a little harsh, but overall I think he's a good judge of talent. But I mean there are alot of really horrible singers that go on the show....and I mean horrible, maybe they were tone deaf lol.

I think it is just the people trying out.. Just like the one chick from last night with the damn pink cowboy hat.. She knew she couldn't sing but tried out anyway. So I think if they get up and try to sing knowing how the judges are, they can deal with the "personal attacks"

I agree, but at the same time I guess you have to put yourself in their shoes....They've been doing the show for how long now? 6 years? I'd have been done after the first season if I were them. I guess it's hard to turn down that cold hard CASH though! Imagine how old it gets listening to all the crazy, whiney, annoying, rude, fake americans that will do ANYTHING to be the next "American Idol"! Yeah, I would have definitely shot myself by now if I were them!!!

Maybe the producers shouldn't purposely send those bad people through. It just wastes the judges' time. If I were a judge, I'd be mean too because of all the annoying people. It's not the judges' fault.
