I think the Colts should blow them out, but I'd still say the Bears have a shot of winning the game. They have a tough defense, and I'm still not sold on this Indianapolis defense improving all that much from the regular season.
If the Bears can cause a turnover or two and get ahead early, then they'll force Peyton to press a little. If that happens, then the Colts really could be in trouble. Still, I'd be suprised if that happened, and I'm predicting a Colts victory.

I am rooting for the bears, but the confidence level is not high at the moment. Considering the Colts are pretty good, the Bears might take a beating in the Miami sun. However, they are the pure underdogs of the season and have been winning even when predicted to lose.
So I still hope that Grossman brings his A game, because the Bears can't continue to make up for all his mistakes. If Grossman plays really well, the rest will follow and a great game will be played.
I rather see a great battle being faught between the 2 teams and lose, than see the team totally get stupid smashed to the point that I can't even watch it anymore.

If the Bears can force the Colts to play thier style of football, the hard hitting, run it up the gut style, they have a chance. If the Bears can keep the game close, they have a defense that makes big plays and a great return man in Devin Hester. If this turns into an offensive shootout, there is absolutely no way the Bears offense can keep up with the Colts. The Colts have far too many offensive weapons and they have probably the best NFL quarterback playing in the league right now, Peyton Manning. My prediction:
If the game is predicated by defense (low scoring): Bears win
If the game is predicated by offense (high scoring): Colts win

I disagree with this theory that the Bears are going to be crushed. Let's not not forget that the Colts went almost 6.5 full quarters in the last two games vs. Baltimore & New England without an offensive TD. Baltimore, if they had any kind of an offense at all, should have really won that game and the Colts beat a physically & emotionally drained New England team with 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Lovie Smith and his staff are going to study these last two games and go over everything that the Ravens & Patriots did on defense with a fine tooth comb.
Don't put the cart before the horse here (no pun inteneded)- I think that Chicago "shows up" and plays a very, very tough game.

The Bears are a good team, but they have not played the AFC. The AFC was unquestionably the stronger division last year, and Colts just straight up dominated. The defense of Chicago has weaknesses in that they play with intesity but are prone to getting tired fast. The offense is pass happy which will probably lead to more interceptions or ineffective use of the clock, not giving the defense enough rest. In the end, the Colts win this because Peyton has conquered his demons of pressure.

Great defence and special teams, plus a solid running game is what the Bears have going for them in this years Super Bowl. I believe that Lovie has made believers of his team, and that they will be focused for this game. Urlacher is a class act, and one of the best linebackers of all time. Peyton Manning on the other hand, and Tony Dungee, seemed to be relieved and happy to have finally won the AFC championship game. They shook a big monkey (Brady, Belicheck and the Patriots) off their back, but, Chicago, after last years disappointing loss to Carolina, is not content whatsoever with just having won the NFC.
Defence, special teams play, and a solid run game, pitted against an Indianapolis defense that is undersized will be the difference in this game. *The exception to this would be if Rex suffers a complete meltdown repeatedly turning the ball over, but, I think the Bears will do what they've done all year and just win!
Chicago Bears 24 Indianapolis Colts 16
Go Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I belive the Bears will win. Even though Rex Grossman is a terrible quarterback, when the Colts have the ball they will lose it from the Bears amazing defense giving the Bears great field position. Then the Bears could just give the ball to Jones or Benson and they will easily run by the Colts' bad rushing defense.

Bears have a great defense that causes turnovers, they have the leagues best special teams "hands down," plus they have a great rushing tandem. Yeah the Colts have one of the best offenses in the league, but we all saw the Saints game right. Brees wasnt exactly shut down, but he was confused all game and didnt play very well at all. I know also the Bears QB isn't prototype Super Bowl material, but he does show up when he needs to. So, i think that the Bears will show up this Super Bowl, and take the Colts with a 28-24 victory.

If Rex Grossman brings his A game to the Superbowl, the Bears defense can make it a good game. But if Grossman performs like he did against Green Bay, the Bears don't have a snowball's chance of winning.

I've been a Colt's fan since they were the laughing stock of the NFL. I think it's going to be close, but I honestly think Manning will finally pull the Colts through. I think the Colts gave new meaning to the term "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen," last week as the temperature was hot as hell in the RCA dome. I think it was intentional, as they know the S.B. will be played in Miami, and they would have to stand the heat. I predict the Colts will win due to Manning, Samuel, el.al. Go Colts!
