FYI: This is a line from a movie that I thought was funny because it's like saying,
"I'm going through a period in my life where I just can't breathe oxygen." Get it?

I would say its very normal. It"ll pass in time & may happen a few times throughout your life. People can be irritating , hurtefull & non- understanding.

From experience, I know this is a time where you find out who your real friends are. People who don't really care but just like having you around will say bye bye, come back when you're ready. Your real friends will know this is a dangerous time and a time when no matter how much you want to be, you shouldn't be alone.

"Ok. If you ever feel a need to talk with someone, I'm here for you." Then, I would leave the person alone and give her her space. Perhaps in a week give the person a call just to say hello.

Often, I just want to be alone for any number of reasons.

I think I would let them alone as I have felt like that from time to time and I hated people trying to "make me feel better'.

Give them the space they need and reassure them I'm around if they feel like communicating

I'd look at them right in the eyeballs and say, "Call me! OK?
See ya!" and book!

It's a bunch of BS. Stay away from them. They're moody.

l'd say, " Okay if you want some more time for yourself. l'll just be right here in case you need someone to talk to."
