The typical electrical infrared heater has coils through which electricity flows, a fan to distribute heat, a thermostat, an on-off switch and a tilt switch to turn it off if it is upset. There may be also, an overheat safety switch.

If this is a gas heater, substitute a heat exchanger for the coils.
