ask your girlfriend or her parents if they like you, they know her and might be able to help you.

Be really nice to your girlfriend's grandmother when your gf is around or when other people are around. This will make it seem as though your gf's grandmother is being unreasonable for not liking you. Keep this up for a while. Pretty soon her own family will begin to pressure her to give you a chance. One day this old bat will tell you that she was wrong about you and you have her blessing and she feels that it's ok if her granddaughter lives with you. This is the day you have waited for so long to come. When it is just you and the old lady in the room tell her that you won and when you are done with her grand daughter she is gonna be pregnant and hooked on crack. She will go berserk and try to tell everyone what you said and they will all think she has a screw loose and has unjustly turned against you again. No one will believe her and chances are your gf will no longer value her opinion so she will move in with you. Of course you have no intention of impregnating her and getting her hooked on crack because you care for her. But by telling the old lady this you can get back at her for all the lonely nights you have spent in your bed alone because your gf doesn't want to upset her grandmother. This is the only way. It is impossible to change an old person's mind the majority of the time. Old people are no wiser than young people in many situations. many 80 year olds are the same as they were when they were 20 except their skin is sagging. Would you take crap from one of your gf's 20 year old female cousins if she didn't like you and disapproved of your gf living with you?

Grandmothers are usually old fashioned. It is probably not you she doesnt like its the idea of you "living in sin" - living together and not married.

Sit and talk to her-dont try to get her to like you. Tell her how you feel about her granddaughter. That you care about her and want her to be in your life. That you cant stand the thought of a day without her, and that you would never hurt her, tell her that when the time is right you will make an "honest" woman of her.

Let that sink in her grandmothers thoughts, and in time she may come to understand.

Good Luck,
Aero

You can't change a grandmother's mind. The only way is with a ring on the girl's finger. Granny is from a different generation and she doesn't want her grandchild living with a guy. Remember this advice: YOU CAN'T CHANGE SOMEONE! It will save you a lot of agony in life, and it's the best advice you'll ever receive.

If your girlfriend is 18 she can't stop her from moving in with you.

If she is not 18, you may just have to wait but if you still want to impress her grandmother, try complimenting her on her cooking. Make a big deal out of it.
Buy granny some flowers now and then and offer to help her with chores.

Also offer to run errands for her.

You'll make a thousand points.

You should do the proper thing and marry her or forget the whole thing. so what you are financially stable wht is more important you be responsible stable! do the right thing the grand mother is correct you should marry her. do right by all involved.
This is a family matter of both sides and show your able to stand up as a man in love wtih a woman, her family and your family and your self.

Simply because she knows better, anyways if you guys are in a serious relationship and have plans of moving together then you guys just need to do it and not let anyone stop you. Changing her mind seems really difficult. Good Luck! Although I doubt it.

Respect her wishes. Most grandmothers don't want to see their granddaughters shacking up with some guy, especially at this age. You guys will be broken up in a few months anyway. Just leave it alone.

her grandma doesn't want you two to be living together because she most likely thinks that it is wrong to live together before marriage and she wouldn't want her granddaughter living with any guy. It doesn't have to do with you in specifics at all. Its just your a guy and a guy living with a girl would be looked down upon unless they were married.

If you and your girlfriend are both of age and agree to be and live together, GO FOR IT! your girlfriend is who you have to please. I mean come on kids are a package deal not grandmothers

Grandmas are set in there ways, "you shouldn't give him the milk for free". She doesn't think that you respect her granddaughter, and you are just using her for sex. There's no real commitment. I don't think there is anything you can do to win her over. Just be nice to Grandma-and wait for her to go home.
