Date of Carnaval Chapala, Mexico?

hey everyone does anyone know when carnaval in chapala starts?
i have the oportunity to go for ONE weekend during that time which weekend in feb would be the best??? 16 to 19????

A good place to look is on line for lake chapala travel, then events other listings, my family has a company in that town, the Mathews company.

Carnaval is from the 17th of February to the 20th of February.

If you come down here try not only that carnaval but the one in Veracruz or Mazatlan as far more famous.
