I think that most people that will oppose Hillary will oppose her -- not because she's a woman -- but because she's Hillary.

quite right. If the fact that she is a woman is the only reason you vote for her, that's not good enough. If you vote for her because of her abilities, and because you like enough of the policies she supports - then go for it. The fact that she is a woman might just make it more interesting in that case.
Knee-jerk reaction of voting for someone because of their sex, their party, their age, their religion, their race -- sometimes, other things being equal, this element could tip the balance, and that's legitimate.

Very true, I have other reasons though for not voting for her but I know alot of people who wont vote for her because she is a woman

Yes. It was done before with Geraldine Ferraro running as vice president for Democrats. Even if I was voting for all the women, I would NOT vote for Hillary.
