doesn't that "encourage" people to ask less. Isn't Yahoo Answers a "white elephant" without questions?

It seems that way coz everyone sees the question on the main page and reports it. They will not bother to find out the answers to the question.

Still, the answers can be prone too coz theres an "abuse flag" near the answer but you will most likely be reported when someone answers the same question and got offended by your answer or it is the asker who reported you.

The bottom line is, people still ask. P&S is still rock and rollin'. Yahoo is still kickin'.

The biggest problem is when too many people get trigger happy reporting people - some of them deserve it, but then again there are always those few who are so childish in their thinking that they have absolutely no life except to spend their whole day reporting people online because they didn't like someone's answer. I've seen it happen, and it's just plain sad.

It's just easier for the Yahoo thought police to read the questions. There are way too many answers for them to go through.

Wow that surprises me. I thought it was more on the answers than the questions. Odd.

They need to revamp the whole system, really.
