The books are a wonderful fictional take on the end of days. I enjoyed it even though I am not a seriously devout Christian (in fact, I have no use for religion at all).

They are very well written, easy to read, and fast reading as well.

Recommendation: Do not read. They're supposed to be based on the Book of Revelation, but it's more based on the authors' own religious dogma and imagination. Nowhere in the Bible is the word "rapture" used -- it's all misinterpretation of scripture to scare people into salvation. If Christians are supposedly God's representatives on earth, why would God rapture them all away? Who would be left to fight the battle of Good and Evil in armageddon? The whole series is ludicrous.

I haven't read the book but I have watched three of the movies. They really make you think about what could happen.

No. I've grown too old for fairytales.

Started to, but stopped because they're heretical. (They're fiction too, but they're also heretical. )
I didn't think they were all that grand.
