Do you work? Go to school? Things like that need to be considered before choosing a pet- because pets take time and they need love and attention! A cat doesn't need to go outside to releive itself, it can use a litterbox. A dog needs to be either trained to go on newspapers or puddle-pads if your not home to let them out. Any furry thing that can be kept in a cage, such as a ferret would be okay, I don't know much about them so I shouldn't say that! But answer the first two questions and then consider going to your local animal shelter to find a pet- they will also help answer questions on anything concerning pets!.

I don't know what people problems are. I think you should look into either a pet rat or a guinea pig. They are both relatively cheap to buy. But you also have to think about the costs of things like their cage, bedding, food... But all of that isn't too expensive either. But i think you should look into either a rat or a guinea pig because they are very friendly and love to cuddle with their owner. Once you look into them a little more you will know if they are right for you or not. I also think you should save up your money, and figure out how much it is for the rest of their needs. Good luck in finding your new pet.

Cats are nice pets. you can find one easy in the newspaper for free. then that would leave you the 30 dollars to get things like cat food and a litter box. Cats are very loving animals and the like to be handle at times. I know that i have one cat that has to sleep next to me at night. he is 4 years old. i have a total of 6 cats. and i love every one of them. Ferrets would cost you about 100 bucks from a pet store and that is not including the cage. you could get a hamster or gerbil but you would pay like 10 buck for the critter and 30 for the cage. and they don't last that long. fish are fun too but they are more costly then they are worth. Whatever you decide to get remember that they are living critters and need TLC just like a child would. Good Luck with your search in finding the perfect pet for you!

A rabbit costs like $60 and that doesn't include the cage and everything. A hamster is cheap it's buying everything else. Sometimes cat's at an animal shelter, if they are over a certain age, are free.

there are thousands of homeless cats and kittens in the animal shelters who are desperate for loving homes. Visit a shelter near you and browse. An adoption fee is very little, and you'll make a friend for life. A cat will cuddle (unlike a rodent), and will live many years longer too.

You have 2 options:
1) check ur local newspaper ads, always have free kittens, they`re cute and cuddly, won`t cost u a dime to buy, easy to potty train, just give it a litter pan, a warm place to sleep(ur bed)
and lots of love.
2) buy a teddy bear.

Get a stuffed animal...there cute and cuddly. You don't have to feed it or walk it, so when the novelty wears off, no problem neglecting a stuffed animal.

Rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and ferrets are often called "pocket pets" because they are small, cute, and inexpensive. Lizards are cool too.

does that include the cost of cage/supplies to set up for an animal or not? do you want something easy to handle? something trainable? Something that doesn't smell?

Not enough info to answer question.
