30 weeks pregnant!! I've constantly had lower stomache pains for over 5 weeks now, my doctor isn't concerned about it. But tonight i was in the shower and started cramping bad, like mentrual period cramping that i had to get out. I keep having to do my breathing techniques so it will make me feel better.. and i still have pain in my lower belly, but i felt my baby move once like a half hour ago. I am also feeling like im going to throw up but nothing is coming up. Im trying to drink a lot of water but it is making me more nauseated. What could this be? false alarm... or what?

If the cramping is that bad you need to go to the doctor. Drinking a lot of water will make you more nauseated. It could be Braxton-Hicks contractions, they can start as early as 20 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, but my first is 10 years old. So unfortunately I don't remember much and every pregnancy is different so I'm learning. Seriously if you are concerned seek medical advice. Sometimes you have to put your foot down and don't take no for an answer from your doctor.

Hey, I am 36 weeks preg. A couple months back I was having intense belly pains, I thought maybe I was having a miscarriage or something and I went to the hospital. They told me that I had strained ligaments around my belly. Once the baby weight starts to get heavy it can really hurt! If you are a kind of skinny/ small frame like me, this could be it. I take a tylenol if it hurts bad.

Hi. If your doctor isn't worried, theres no reason to get yourself stressed out about it. Try lying down when it happens,it might help. The only time you should really be concerned is when you don't feel the baby moving like usual. Good luck!!

i have had braxton hicks my hole entire pregnancy... my doctor said that its not to commen but not that uncommen either... anyways, i had the same feelings you did... so maybe it is braxton hicks... now that im at 38 weeks i can tell the difference between braxton hicks and real contractions (that i get once in a while)
