Want Marcel to Win?

Thumbs up if you want Marcel to win Top Chef! Honestly, I think he's the most talented. He might come off as arrogant, but perhaps he has reason to believe in himself. I got sick and tired of the other contestants ganging up on him during the show. Was glad when Betty was voted off. (Liked her at first, but then she just became a whiny .)

Ilian said he thought that what Cliff did to Marcel wasn't right, but if you watch the clip, notice who is egging the whole thing on? That's right, Ilian.

I do not want Ilian to win. I don't think he's as talented, and I think he has been the juvenile one in the show, not Marcel.

Does anyone else here think Marcel should win? Please, no slamming. If you don't like Marcel, fine...but keep the responses mature, please.

I'm not sure who I want to win. Marcel is arrogant as hell, and I know it has nothing to do with his talent OR his personality, but I really hate his hair and that little *thing* below his lip! Ugh. Ilan is hot but I don't care for his tactics. Elia didn't deserve to win -- she couldn't handle pressure at all. Remember how she totally fell apart when her chocolate heart didn't turn out? She even said "I quit!" Not a strong characteristic in a chef. Anyway, I think that character should play a part in the decision as well as talent and I think Marcel may just be more talented than Ilan. Either way, it will be a good show!

Hated Betty too. What a jerk! I liked Mia until the last couple of episodes she was on. What an attitude she had! Geez.

I agree with you....From what I saw on tv Marcel didn't seem so bad or annoying. I think some of the people needed to take their frustrations on someone and Marcel was the candidate. I liked Ilan at first but after he went bashing Marcel during the 7 Deadly Sins challenge I have lost respect for him. I was a little shocked that Sam go voted off just because he seemed pretty consistent with winning things over the season. Marcel is very talented in what he specializes in and I hope him the best.

(Is it me or does Marcel look kind of cute in a weird and wolf-boyish way...)

I have been disapointed with the behavior of all of them except Marcel. Obviously on the 3 months that they have been away Marcel has been doing the most work to expand his knowledge about food. Marcel's plating is very artistic and he is very tallented. He also has creative outlets like his wrapping to let off stress unlike other people on the show. I was really disapointed with ellia I could not believe that she would acuse marcel of doing things and then could not back it up with any facts.

sorry, but Marcel has behaved really badly through the whole show and I definitely don't think he deserves to win. Unlike the other contestants, he works at a very swanky restaurant and he rubs that in to the other contestants and lords over them -- think of him as the rich Ivy league kid who wants attention and who can't stop showing off. Plus, how many times has he 'accidentally' moved someones food or shut off a faucet or turned off a burner? I don't wish the guy ill, but Marcel wouldn't have this many enemies if he hadn't made them himself.

I really believe in Marcel's talents and I agree that the food is what counts. I don't want to come off cocky or anything, but ever since I saw the premiere episode, (and trust me, I had it marked on my calendar (love Top Chef and Project Runway)) I thought there was going to be something different about Marcel. He is so cool, and I don't know why nobody else liked him. He seems to be season 2's version of Stephen, right?
Whatever anybody else says, I would think Marcel deserves to win. Sam was too immature, Elia was too annoying and ilan was too immature and annoying.

Not happening. Wikipedia already announced the winner and it was not him. It was Elan.
