Are you pre-mixing or injecting? If its injection there is nothing wrong with Yamalube oil available at any Yamaha shop.

I had an RZ350 streetbike. Same motor. You have an oil injection system so you don't need to pre-mix..., that is, unless your machine has been modified. Assuming it's still stock, you can use any brand of high quality "low ash" 2 stroke oil. But don't chinse out and buy cheap sh**. It'll cost you in the end. "Opti 2" is about the best you can get. If you love your Banshee, you'll spent the few extra bucks and never have to worry again. It's much cheaper by the gallon in case you use you machine a lot.

Yamulube and Golden Spectra are both very good. Also I believe Amsoil makes some for your banshee. You should use everything you can from Amsoil. If your are not premixing, you should start, oil injecters fail and then you burn a motor. It is well worth it to disable the injection system and mix your own fuel. Most everyone who rides a machine that is injected does this.
