anyone who knows where to buy mallard ducklings in mn? or a good website that sells them cheap?

Captive-bred Mallard ducks can be purchased from poultry hatchery catalogs. They send your ducks to you in the mail. You may have to have a special license or permit to keep Mallards in some states, but there are several breeds of domestic ducks which look just like Mallards.

I'd urge you to see if your local library has any books on duck care. There's a book called "Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks" which is a wonderful reference.

Look in the Yellow pages for Farm Supply or Feed Stores. During the Spring they usually order for people. I have also bought from Murry McMurray mentioned above;

The problem with mail order is you have to order a certain limit (10) for them to ship warm and safe. If, you wanting that many it be OK. If, you want less the Farm Supply usually tell you the game, but, usually they can order the minimum and sell what you not want to someone else.
