The PS2 headset is properly matched with PS2 video games on the PS3, no longer PS3 video games. additionally the PS3 bluetooth isn't properly matched for the PS2 video games. So it relies upon on what pastime your enjoying some video games on the PS3 have compatibility with it and a few are not.
