First, I would put on a wetsuit. Then, fill my waterproof backpack with chicken, rice, and bean burritos. Next, I would have my dog Lassie tow me with a rope attached to a surfboard (because i cannot swim) to the nearest buoy. There, I would befriend some of the local sunbathing sea lions. After much consideration, they offer to give me and Lassie a ride to a chartered fishing boat (I speak sea lionish, but am a bit rusty). Upon entering the fishing boat, I throw them some fish bait to the sea lions for gratitude (captain is not happy). Time for some burritos. As time goes by, the captain states that they need to return to shore. But, I have not reached my goal. I decide to float in the middle of the ocean on my surfboard with Lassie. She cannot swim anymore, as the burritos are not agreeing with her. A few more hours go by, and luckily I am picked up by the Coast Guard (thank you fishing captain). I tell the uniformed men about my quest. They explain their jurisdictions and sail me over to a submarine on a routine protocol watch.

Upon entering the submarine, the captain gives me a tour of the underwater steel encasement. The burritos are now kicking in (I knew I should have cut back on the hot sauce). I defile the sub's bathroom and my gaseous odor is free flowing throughout the rest of the sub. The captain (and crew) are in quick agreement to 'surface' the sub for fresh air. I apologize for my actions as the captain is pushing me back into the ocean. As luck would have it, they surfaced near a shoreline. A stunned surfer happily pulls us to shore. As I sit on 'the other side of the ocean', I contemplate the generosity of all those who have aided me. But at the same time, poor Lassie...she's gonna have diarrhea for a week.
