went I play media player the sound not there?

Check to see if the Driver for the Audio Card is installed, to do so, click start and right click on my computer. Select Properties and then go to hardware>device manager. Once there, check to see if you have anything under unknown devices and see under Sound, Video, and game controller to make sure everything is there.

speaker on?
check the little sound bar at the bottom of the player
check your sound parameter.
check that your song file format is compatible with the player
then that's it
