There is no use in scaring people into thinking they have things they might not have.
I get skin colored bumps around that area too. Usually they are Ingrown Hairs from Shaving. I also get black and blue bumps that are a bit painful to the touch. But they go away in a few days. Ingrown hairs can be Popped when they come to a head. I would say try to keep the area clean and put some Neosporin on the bumps then Call Your Dr and Make an Appointment as soon as you can. Don't worry until you find out what they are.

Damn, these people are not helpful at all, are they? What they mean to say is that there are lots of possibilities of what this could be. If you shave that area, its really likely that they are either shaving irritation or ingrown hairs. Use shave gel, warm water, and a sharp blade every time. If you have had unprotected sex with someone who might have an STD, its also possible this could be a sexually transmitted infection. The only way to know that is to go to your doctor and ask for this kind of testing. The other possibility is that this is just your skin type and theres nothing wrong at all. You need to see a doctor to find out for sure.

are you sexualy active? do you shave your pubic area?
It is common to have bumps around that area from time to time (hair follicle cysts, blackheads, etc). If you have any doubts, check it out. if it was warts they would look kind of like warts ppl get on there hands.and if it was herpies it would be more of a blister so i dont think its std related but you might want to see a dr to get checked and find out what it is

i know what you a talking about. Infantigo(impetigo)is what my doctor says. i think they call any rash there are not sure of (but not a problem) Infantigo. like baby diaper rash. caused by moisture. there are levels of severity. my doc gave me a cream. went away.

i am a massage therapist. i have seen a lot of butts. a lot of adults have this. not serious unless it's really painful then see a doc. can lead to a staph infection.

probably not herps they would be bigger and hurt like an open sore. look at pictures of different types of rashes to compare yours.

It could be a rash or it could just be normal like some women have bumps around their nipples.

Skin colored bumps suggests Human Papiloma Virus or HPV. they're sexually transmitted and very contagious. But don't take my word for it, you need to see your doctor in order to take the appropriate treatment.

If they are round and flat, definitely "genital warts" which can easily be removed by skin specialist or even your gynee. Not necessarily a virus. Can be caused by hygiene problem.

If not warts, likely just skin tags. They just clip them off. Can give you freezing to remove if bigger.

They might be "skin tags" if they aren't anything else. They themselves are harmless, but the underlying cause isn't (for example, insulin resistance).

Definitely check with the girlydoc in case it's something else.
