D) why set your boundaries at any age.

All three of your preferences require a lot of schooling or training.

Set a goal on some general area and look into what it will entail to reach it. There are a million wanna be actors but only a few that make it big. Would you be happy if the best you could do may just be community theater with no pay?

Seems like you've already ruled out teaching.

Chemistry is very challenging, requires a devotion to continued education, but offers a limitless choice to diversification. Biology, Metallurgy, Medicine, etc...

When I was your age I planned on being a;
A) Military pilot
B) Meteorologist
C) Structural designer

As it turned out, I retired recently after 30 years as an inspector in an auto assembly plant. I'm still not sure at the age of 54 about what I want to do when I grow up, but I think it might be;
A) Furniture maker
B) Landscape designer
C) Home inspector
D) What ever opportunity offers

Just set a goal and go for it. It may happen or not. Just do your best or go on to the next.

What SHOULD you be and what you WANT to be are two very different questions. If the question is what you want to be, then answer truthfully-you want to be an actress. There are many ways to be in acting-plays, movies, advertising, etc. It's not as far-fetched as you might think.

Now, if this is what you should be when you grow up, I think being a chemist would be way cool. Can you imagine what science will be like by the time you get to college? If I were younger, I'd be hot on the idea of doing human genome research or neurosciences (like studying the brain). If you're truly a straight A student, go where the action is, and that's science.

I taught people your age for a long, long, time, and I am going to tell you something I told all of them: At your age, don't label yourself as a future actress, chemist, or anything else until you have the opportunity to go out and do a little (or a lot) of exploring in the things that you enjoy doing! You are WAY too young to have ANY UNCHANGEABLE GOALS burned into your mind!
I was IN COLLEGE for quite some time before I decided to finally become a teacher; it definitely wasn't my first choice! I started out as a Physical Education major because I was on a baseball scholarship, but decided that I didn't want to coach, so didn't want to teach, after all, since they pretty much go hand in hand in public schools.
I instead got a degree in psychology so I could be a counseling psychologist, and one whim led to another until I also had a total of 75 extra quarter hours in everything from basket weaving to art, to philosophy, then to all sorts of other things, as well. Then guess what? ! ended up teaching and coaching for over twenty years, anyway! In the meantime, however, I started writing, as well, and have been happy ever since! My background has opened up all kinds of interesting experiences!
Now, I don't tell you that story because I want you or anyone else to go out and be as wishy-washy about what they want to do as I obviously was. I tell you only so perhaps you might start looking around a little earlier than I did before plunging into your life's work - which might be something of which you know very little yet! :-) In other words, at your age have some fun, check out everything and anything that looks interesting, then start to narrow down your choices as you grow and gain more experiences. Hopefully, then, by the time you get to the end of your high school experienceyou can make some choices with which you will be very happy. You don't have to be a lunkhead and take all those extra (and increasingly expensive) college courses like I did, but at the same time you don't want to make a choice while you are young, then find out ten years down the line that you really, really want to do something else but have a family/financial commitments/etc, and can't turn back. Believe me, there are WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO DID JUST THAT! Use your youth to LEARN ABOUT LIFE, AND HOW YOU WISH TO CONTRIBUTE IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL, SPECIAL WAY! :-)
The paper that you're supposed to write? Simply tell your teacher just what I said about taking the time to do some exploring. Tell him or her about your interests, then go from there. Oh - by the way, if there is something you rare truly passionate about like acting, don't let the competition you will undoubtedly face discourage you from at least trying! Perhaps you'll one day win an Oscar - who knows? You will never know if you don't try! Simply have something else on which you can fall back if things don't work out, and you'll be fine! GOOD LUCK! :-)

i would say actress because that's the only option that u mentioned that u seem to really love. because u said u nearly fall asleep in science and it's a REALLY tough field to be in and u said that teaching would bore u, so go with what u really love. i mean it's not like u have to decide what u want to be in 7th grade...u have a LONG time ahead of u to decide. it's only a school thing, so for now, since u love acting, why not go with that? hope i helped!
ps im in 8th grade and we had to do that too. :)

d) A nurse.....you get to take fun science classes that answer a lot of questions about the human body. On top of that, you can work in pediatrics and put smiles on childrens' faces who otherwise fear the doctor/hospitals. An RN (Registered Nurse) also makes a very good salary that averages $70,000 a year starting out after college.

i have wanted to be so many things throught the years in 7th grade you souldnt have to know what you want to do i know i didn't

you have plenty of time to figure it out and there are lots of jobs that you have probably never heard of and there is probably one that you will like better than any of these.

I'm a nurse and I love it. I work 2 days a week, so I get lots of time off. My days are always different, so I don't get bored. Plus, you don't have to worry about getting laid off, with the age of so many Americans that are getting older I don't worry about losing my job.

If you are good in chemistry, you should be a Doctor or Pharmacist. They both make good money. Do NOT waste your intelligence on being a Teacher. They don't make much money and spend most of their time "babysitting" other poeple's kids.

Sounds to me like you're best suited as an actress. Don't give up on it too soon. If you really like it and you're good at it, put that down as your profession.

a)
