I have a comcast dual tuner DVR, a Vizio HD TV, panasonic DVD/VCR & a Kenwood A/V receiver. How do I hook them all together? Right now they are all separately connected to the TV making it impossible to set the VCR on screen and I can't get the A/V receiver to work with only the TV.

Depends on your input & outputs you have on each component. If your DVR is not HD then hook up the yellow cable to the TV and the red & white to the receiver. If it is HD then use an HDMI cable or component cables. The DVD would be the same.

If you have optical audio out on your TV then use it. Hook up all components to the TV then use an optical cable from the TV to the receiver. Now the TV audio will play on the receiver no matter what you're watching.

if you are using HDMI or DVI that will have to be your main cable input and is usually numbered if not however here is how ive got mine set up

video 1. component cable from cable box
-cable audio out to reciever audio in(red and white rca's)
video 2. DVD video
-audio connection will go straight to reciever and not the tv
from DVD player
Video 3. VHS video
-Vhs will recieve cable off of either second output from cable box or the output coaxial connection on the cable box located next to "cable in" on cable box
-vhs audio will go directly to reciever
