No, they are building a half dozen or so military bases in Iraq so that we can have troops there permanently.

before the last election several Dems.claimed that if they took control of Congress that the International Community would rush in and save the U.S. , so now that the Dems have the Congress where is the International Community? could it be that the Dems are a pack of liars.

the true Commander and Chief (President George W. Bush not Nancy Pelosi ) will not bring the Troops home until the job in Iraq is done and the Terrorists are defeated.

National security is of utmost importance. American forces are present in many places in the world. Defense policies were planned to defeat any attack by enemy. Cold war has ended. Some groups in order to push their political agenda have adopted use of force. No country was prepared to this phenomena. Media has provided publicity to them and this publicity was oxygen for them. Either these people should be brought to negotiating table or defeated. Foreign policy and national security are very complex issues. Only those people can comment who have been close to issue and understand the problems in depth. Every body wanted that troops should be back home. Those who are at the helm of affairs better understand American interest.

I think you mean bringing them home.

I don't think Bush will for the next 12 months.

Bush wants to prove something to his father or to become a hero president.
Cheney has friends that are getting rich off this and he's probably getting a slice of the pie too.

No. Feel free to protest, but there are probably more constructive things you could be doing to show support for your troops and nation.

No, but I think the next President will, regardless of political party.

And LiberalsHateAmerica, liberals do care about terrorists. The 30,000 Iraqi civillians who were killed in this war were certainly not terrorists.
