My Sister in law conceived and was unaware of it until she has cramps and bleeding. The doctor did the ultrasound but could not detect anything . After few more days they conformed that she had miscarriage as the egg came into her stomach and got miscarried. She has to go through surgery to get clean up but still according to Docs it was not done 100% and is on medicines. She had lots of infections.
Will there be any problem when she tries to conceive later. I am really worried about her.

I really don't understand your statement "as the egg came into her stomach and got miscarried" means. The egg should have never been in her stomach to begin with. If this is what her physician told her then she needs/must go somewhere else. Somethings really don't sound right to me and perhaps you are not getting the whole story. Again, if you are, then by all means get her to the nearest emergency room where that physician does not practice and make sure someone else treats her soon.

Unfortunately, some doctors try to move on to the next patient to fast and this happens. The same thing happened to me. I had an ultrasound done and they said there was nothing left in there. But, it only takes a very little bit even small enough it cannot be detected by ultrasound. I had to stay in the hospital two days with three types of antibiotics through I.V. I felt bad for about a week after but was fine. I am pregnant now with my second child. Your sis-in-law will probably be fine, too. I went a couple of days thinking everything was gone, too. But when I started running fever and looked like a ghost within two days after I lost the baby I knew something was wrong. It's a good thing she got checked when she did because if the infection was left untreated it could lead to never being able to have children. It is very serious, but as I said, she is being treated so I/m sure she will be fine. Good luck.

Ok first of all there is no way in hell the egg traveled to her stomach, unless it is a male egg and forgot to ask for directions! But, really no way in hell. What happened most likely is that when the egg traveled it probably did not attach properly and to make sure all products of conceptions are removed she has to go through a D&C to clean out all remnants of pregnancy to prevent infection from developing. She should be ok with future pregnancies!

she should not have any problems getting pregnant later on. I had a miscarriage in 2005 and had to have a D&C done too. You have to take care of yourself really well for awhile after you have that done or you can get infections. I got pregnant a year later and now have a beautiful baby girl. I had no problems.

Do you mean the miscarriage was incomplete and her doctor had to remove the remaining tissue? It is important that her gynecologist follow closely because the infection could leave scar tissue that might prevent later conception.

she shouldn't have any problems as long as them did a D & C on her and she is taking medicine for the infection. Tell her to make sure she goes back for her check up.

She needs to see another WELL RECOMMENDED Ob Gyn for a thorough exam and a second opinion.

I would be concerned.
