The stages are: prosperity, recession, depression and recovery. I thought it was recover stage, but not too sure about it.

We are at the end of a recovery cycle and leveling off in prosperity. However, it would be easy for the economy to tetter off into a recession. The recent Democrat victory and susequent discussions of "raising taxes on the rich", have made investors nervous and capital is starting to dry up.

Depression, at least in Michigan anyway. We have more jobs leaving the area, than entering it. I think that most of the country is in the same boat. Many of our higher paying jobs and trades are leaving our country at an alarming rate. We are at a dangerous point in our history. When 90% of the wealth is controlled by 10% of the population our society will start to crumble. I believe that we are at that point now. When a CEO makes 400x what their employees make, there is something seriously wrong.
