You might be just a tad, but there are also other factors. Your bone structure, for one. For another, do you work out with weights? And, a 5'3" male should be heavier than a 5'3" female.

I am 5'5" and about 110 lbs, and I hear people tell me how thin I must be. I'm actually normal for me because I have a very small frame. People my height with a bigger frame would look skeletal at my weight. Also, if you do any kind of weight training, remember that muscle weighs more than fat but looks leaner than fat (or flab).

If you are of average build and aren't particularly muscular, I would say 115-120 lbs. would be about right. Smaller frame, less; larger frame, more. That's just ballpark.

According to BMI (BodyMassIndex) Calculator at this website, you are fine. For 5"3, you should be between 112-136 lbs which gives an average of 124. So if you're small boned and 129, you might want to drop a few, but if you're bigger boned, you're all right.

I am also 5'3 and I weight 110 pounds. I used to weigh a lot more and even when I was at around 130 pounds people told me I look great. In fact, my family always tells me they think I looked best at that weight. I guess what matters is if you are happy with yourself.

You would be a little trimmer, if your wieght was 115 to 125, but 129 is not overwieght, if you really want to drop a size, exercise, forget dieting, it only slows your metablize, and you end up needing less food.

You're 'bout the same as me...well, except for your age. I'm way older.

When people ask my weight, (rude isn't it?), they are surprised, thinking I weigh less. I'm fit, and they say muscles weigh more, and takes up less space/inches than fat.

Oh, to answer your question...no, you are not overweight.
