I personally never watched it but a couple of times, it was too stupid to tune into, I happened to be watching it now and its ridiculous not even funny.

It was BRILLIANTLY funny in its first season, and then it went downhill from there.

I loved it but it's probably a generational thing, ya know? I never liked Jennifer Anniston but maybe it's only because she looks like Stan Laurel. LMAO I though it was so funny that she's the one everyone focused on since Courtney Cox is beautiful (though she got frighteningly skinny during the show's run) and Lisa Kudrow is a better comedian and actress. Go figure!

I thought some of the episodes were funny, but I didn't watch it alot. I've noticed that people have different opinions on what is funny . I like real life humor, like George Lopez. But some people think he isn't that funny.

Everyone has a Right to their own opinions. Personally I liked the show. Thought it was entertaining and sometimes very funny. It ran it's course though. The story lines were getting a little ridiculous. It was time for it to end.

I don't know if I'd say it was stupid, but I felt it lacked any original direction. It seemed tailor-made to appeal to the Gen-X demographic, and by that I mean that there were six twenty-somethings who, despite being branded with forced differences in character, acted pretty much the same. I wish I could have such smashing success chasing my proverbial tail for a decade.

I dare say this and I don't care if I get thumbs down for it or not. The show was highly over rated, the actors were highly over paid. For Phoebe and Joey, could anyone really be that stupid?

I never watched Friends when it was out originally although I have watched it a little in reruns. It is entertaining but not fabulous.
Mash was the very best.

I HATED IT. The acting was horrible. The writers should have been the ones making all of the $.

I was never a big fan of Friends. A few of the episodes were comical, but not nearly as funny or well-scripted as "Seinfeld,"
or "Everybody Loves Raymond." So yes, I do think it was and is overrated.

i liked the theme song,but never watched the show except once and you hit it on the nail, over rated, just like Seinfeld (or what ever the name was)
