I need money to buy a laptop, but I'm still to young to get a job other wise I would have one. But I need about 500 bucks and Idk how to get that. I do chores but my parents won't give me 10 bucks. No one asks me to babysit. And I just need some mulah. Please Helppp!

goto school and hustle hustle hustle. make cup cakes and sell them or any other baked goods buy gum sodas sell them for profit print out ads at school to mow lawns and wash cars clean house etc explain the reason why you are trying to earn money talk to the school counsler usually people call schools looking for extra help talk to teachers pick up cans set up a garbage can at school just for cans for a lil extra cash help other kids with homework just keep on goin.

Schools, colleges, big companies, corporations, and so on sell off the old laptops after a few years... these are still great, but have a few years of use. Former girlfriend's company gave new ones to management and top level DBA's, then the 2nd year of use those went to low level DBA's... 3rd year of use had them auctioned off, donated, etc.
Ask around and you'll find that alot of pople give away old ones when they upgrade to the latest and greatest. I've given away 2 in the last 6 years. I'd bought both of them from friends who bought new.
Also look in a trade 'zine, called "The Computer Edge", your local craigslist, and be sure to hit the local university campus a month before the end of the semesters... those outgoing students with limited funds and / or limited weight restrictions for luggage get rid of actual tons of stuff here in San Diego.
You may have to pay a little bit, but may have more selection.
The more you search the better a laptop you'll get. They have zip for resale value compared to new, and after a few years almost everyone who can afford it gets a better one with more features.

Maybe there is something you can do for your neighbors. Do some yardwork, wash their cars, walk their dogs, do their grocery shopping, etc. Make sure you know how much they are willing to pay you, BEFORE you do the work (I got burned a couple of times when i was younger). Afterwards, get a calculator and figure out how long it will take you to earn $500. Make sure it doesn't interfere with your school work. Parents not happy with your grades equals no more work. No more work, no laptop. Good Luck.
