I play volleyball and we've been conditioning and I have been having a lot of sores. Is there any methods to lower the pain. Thank you for any help.

Do you mean sores on the skin or sore body parts?
Sores are the skin do not heal faster with cold water.
If you have sore body parts, cold water can help. I would recommend cold water while you are doing a lot of training. On the weekends hot water can be better for your aches and sore muscles. Ibuprophen works great, too!

no - but swimming in the open sea helps - the salt accelerates healing. It's probably too cold now, you may have to wait till summer tho.

i think hot mud baths and sun exposure are better for sores ,cold is not a healing concept
