1.) Start contacting state senators and representatives. i would start at the state level. try to find someone caring for the cause.
2.)Contact the governor of your state.
you also can try for your Senators and Reps for your state too.
I will tell you this has been proposed and I am against it. But many men have died to give you this honor and I would be a fool if I did not respect that.

There was a guy that got pulled over as he was leaving work. He'd been sober all his life, never drank... The cop gave him a breath-alyzer, and it showed he'd been drinking. In actuality what was registering on the breath-alyzer was the Cepachol the guy had just sprayed in his throat (cold season is a b--). They happened to be across the street frm the hospital, and the guy wanted the cop to go withhim over to the hospital and get an actual blood-alcohol test done (draw blood, the whole 9 yards...). The officer wouldn't do it, just wrote the ticket and told the guy that he couldn't drive home.
The guy called his brother (who worked at the same place and was also getting off work) for a ride. The two of themwent over to the hospital and got a blood-alcohol test done. BTW- test results were a blood-alcohol level of 0.000... way below the legal limit!!!
You can bet that this guy didn't just go pay it- he went to court!!When it came time to go to court over it, he took the paperwork from the hospital... and the judge laughed at the cop and dropped charges!!!
Sooooo.... what would your installed breath-alyzer have done for this guy? He doesn't get to drive because he has a cold??

So, are you assuming I'm guilty of drinking before I even get in my car? This is a common practice, but its installed on vehicles of those that have been convicted of DUI.. or DWI.. what every they all it where you are.
You could start by talking with your District Representative.

It has already been thought of and rejected as an invasion of privacy. You are a couple of years late. Good idea though.

Yeah GREAT idea. NOT. I am anti-drinking but devices like that could fail and not allow you to start your car even if your 100% sober. I believe, however that someone should have it after their first DUI.
