To teach my children that greed, selfishness, and exploitation are wrong and truth, beauty, and justice are right. Then I will teach them to teach others by the example they set. Touching lives in a positive way, who will touch other lives, and so on.

That is a tough question. I think I contribute many of the normal things that most upstanding citizens do such as tax dollars, productivity through work, generosity to the less fortunate, and hopefully I will one day produce offspring that will do the same.
Of course the above services that I provide are hardly that unique, for most people in the world do that. If one is talking about a unique contribution to mankind, I suppose that contribution would have to involve the use of some unique talent or interest of mine.
When talking about my offering to the world, from a standpoint of uniqueness, I think my greatest contribution would be my thoughts in both written and verbal form. It is by offering my philosophy in public discourse that I hope to engender debate that might, over time result in greater understanding and maybe action in a positive direction. Maybe that is why I spend so much of my free time at work and at home on forums like Yahoo Answer.

Do not mistake this for arrogance but I have given many gifts to the world.You have also,as have everyone else on here.The real question is whether the gifts we give will make a difference.
