properly, both events have had worry bringing the troops domicile (save in ideas lower back in 2000, overseas isolationism became Bush's deal, and militia interventionalism became Gore's platform), inspite of how many times both events change sides on even if or not they help or oppose wars interior the middle East. So i'd not extremely call bringing the troops domicile a "left" concern - a minimum of no longer for longer than 2 years at a time. Legalizing weed isn't a left OR precise concern - it is a few thing function to three fairly libertarian states. If marijuana became a leftist component, shall we see it criminal in ny and D.C., quite than Colorado and Washington. As for gun administration? Yep, they have dropped that one - ninety% of the country helps it, although the Democrats can't get it achieved. To be straightforward, the NRA is about the most entrenched foyer in Washington, and it has some capacity that maximum politicians are precise to be frightened of.

He didn't exercise veto power on Democrat sponsored legislation during his first 6 years. I think he'd like to keep the tax cuts so the economy will be able to produce higher government revenue, but other than that, the man is a fiscal liberal, almost as much as the congressional Republicans.

I would expect him to veto several bills. That is about the only way for him to get congress to compromise on legislation. he gets some, and they get some.

Absolutely. Bush says that he appreciates other peoples input and respects them. These are perhaps two of the biggest lies he tells. He could give a flying f*u*c*k what anyone else including people with brains think about anything.

If the Democrats pass exactly what he wants then he will sign. But he will include signing statements which basically say I am the dictator and I will ignore whatever part of this bill I choose too.

It amazes me that there are still Americans that cannot see what a farce this man is.

I think he's strutted around with a big stick and heavy footsteps for the past years.

Now, it is time to walk with a small stick and light steps, say please and smile, cap in hand.

Veto, hmm, Nixon is not so far away in memory.
