Q.7

all right then, Area = base x height.

So all you have to do is go Area / base = height.

14 18/25 / 1 3/5 = base

base = 9.2

Q.8.

Perimeter = ( 2 x length) + (2 x base)
length = (Perimiter - 2base) / 2
Length = 1/4

Q.9.

This all depends on the triangle, so I will just assume that it is a right angle triangle.

This is just half a square so all you do is the same as the area of a square then divide by two

11 x 21= 231

231 / 2 = 111.5

Q.10.

Since area is just two numbers multiplied together, you just have to find two numbers that multiply to give you 49. Since it has to be a square these two numbers must be the same, and the answer is

7

Hope this was insightful

Actually try READING the text of the section you're trying to do homework in. Why is it that these days students ignore the 5-10 pages of material and examples BEFORE the problem sets and then are confused when they don't understand the problems?

I'm sure there's a big fat box around an equation that says: The area of a triangle = .5 * Base length * Height length.

If you actually took 10 minutes to flip through and see the examples it would be obvious.

Do you NOT read the chapter for English class te night before a quiz and complain to the teacher that the quiz is impossible? Do you not read the verb conjugation tables in your french or spanish book? Don't just open the book and try the problems, attempt reading about them first!

[7];
base x height = area
9.2cm....ans

[8];
perimeter = b + h + b + h
h = 6.94m = 694cm..............ans

[9];

area of triangle = 1/2 x b x h
= 1/2 x 0.11 x 0.21
= 0.01155 m.......ans

[10];
square = b x h, but h= b
so, 49^1/2 = 7 x 7 ...

1 inch = 2.54 cm,
7 inch = 7 x 2.54 cm
= 17.78 cm.......ans..

remember don't said 'i hate math'.... no body will help u next time...... TQ.... I love math.
