You are in luck..I own a cleaning business and easy and cheap is the trick. To clean soap scum use any type hair conditioner and a scrubby. What puts the scum there takes it off. Vinegar in mop water works well and will not hurt floors. A mixture of vinegar, water, drop of detergent and a cap of alchol works awesome on glass. Use a sock on your hand when dusting with any polish to prevent dropping cloth and to be able to use your finger to get in small places. I hope this helps

After you clean, I really recommend a product that absolutely absorbs odors from everywhere including fridge, near trash, under your sink, garage. I even use it as an odor absorber for my cat litter box. No sprays or chemicals either which is what I like. It is a product called FRIDGE IT odor absorber sold in kitchen gadget sections of stores like walmart and linens and things. It is a little purple cube that has a carbon filter inside. It really works and I've tried lots of products until I found this. Now, I don't use anything else to get rid of odors. You'll love it.

I like:
Pledge because my furniture looks so pretty after it's polished
409 Multisurface cleaner for most other surfaces
Orange Clean foam when I need to remove grease from the stove top in the kitchen
Spot Shot for carpet stains
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for everything else, including soap scum, show walls -- everything!

I could not live without the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It is awesome on just about everything!!! I also use CLR on my shower to remove soap scum and keep the shower doors sparkling. I have tried using conditioner with a scrubby, but it doesn't compare to CLR. Spot Shot is by far the best carpet spot cleaner. Works great.

Bjorn Strid is pretty awesome but my favorite would have to be Rocky Gray. The current bands hes in right now are Soul Embraced, Living Sacrifice, Fatal 13, Mourning Side, Machina, The Killer and the Star, and We Are the Fallen. In all of those bands he plays either the drums, guitar vocals or additional vocals. One talented fella. I would have to say I like him better when he is screaming/growling. A Jesse Leach B Awesome username haha... I love that album

Personally, my favorites are Melaleuca brand products. They are all non-toxic, do what they say they do, relatively cheap, and environmentally friendly. Most of them are around $5.00 for a concentrated bottle that makes FOUR spray bottles the size of a Formula 409 bottle.

You can find their products at www.melaleuca.com

I do not work for Melaleuca. I look for kid-safe products I can afford with good value.

The only non-melaleuca product I love is "Clean & Play" made by Pampers. I can only seem to find it at Babies R Us stores.

Comet, Windex, 409 Antibacterial, and Lemon Pledge. Because they are relatively inexpensive and do a very good job of cleaning and make everything sparkle and smell nice.

I use comet to scrub my tub, the works toilet bowl cleaner on the toilet, cleaner with bleach in the spray bottle on my kitchen, and pine sol on the floors. They are all cheap and work great and you can get them at wall mart.

Anything that's cheap and effective is okay by me. I usually buy generic/store brand versions of Windex, 409, Clorox, etc
