I asked earlier if it was possible to use GC files on the Wii version of Zelda. I know i can hook up my GC to it but i want to try it with the new controlkers.
but i dont want to start all over again to do so. I am more then half way through the game.

please let me know if the Wii version will read my GC saved files.

You can't hook up your Gamecube to the Wii. The Wii will read Gamecube games, and so long as you put the memory card into the proper slot, it will read it perfectly. Unfortunately, you must have the Wii version of the game to use the Wii controls. Also, The Gamecube version only supports Gamecube controls. So just playing it on the new machine will not change the control scheme.

I know what you mean with your question. Sadly, the gamecube save for Twilight princess is only compatible for the Gamecube version of the game. You can play the GC version on the Wii thanks to backwards compatibility but the Wii version of the game will require a seperate save file, stored on the Wii or an SD card.

Hope I've answered your question, Sorry to break the news.

Well you need to use a gamecube memory card for gamecube games anyways so as long as you use the same memory card you should still have the file

Have fun with your Wii
