Just makin sure I haven't missed any rumors. If so, I just don't think I will be able to watch it anymore.

Um, you guys do know that the guy that plays Grissom is leaving after this season, right? I figure they brought in the new guy to see if the show could survive without Grissom. Of course, theres no way Keppler would REPLACE Grissom as head CSI, that would fall to Katherine, but he might be a new addition to the staff if and when Grissom leaves to have the same number of cast members and for more opportunities for stories, considering Keppler's past and all.

I wouldn't mind Keppler hanging around after Grissom returns. I think he's the new face that a long-running show sometimes needs.

I think that he thinks he will on the show but a csi without grissom is absolutely doomed and he will not replace him. It would completely wreck the show and I haven't heard anything about that and im totally obsessd. Grissom will definitely be back!

He doesn't tune out at all, but by the looks of it he does. However, with so much medical, lab and forensics information crammed into his head that as soon as he hears something about a case, a clue, a missing piece of the puzzle, something that ties up, he zonks out and tries to get all the information fall neatly into place. He's like a kid in a candy store with a wild sugar fix. At least Sherlock Holmes had his violin, but Grissom would look silly fiddling in the lab, so zonking out will do.
