If the white girls are stupid enough to starve themselves then so be it. The black girls enjoy the same sort of celebrity and can have a decent feed then more power to them.

The reason it's acceptable for us is because most black women are naturally curvy and hollywood seems to accept that, but white women can't be that way because hollywood sees them as skinnny women. Have u ever seen a black women in Hollywood who looks like Nicole Ritchie or Lindasy Lohan?

Not ones who are respected in the way a lot of the black women are.
Most of them have bad reputations (i.e. Rosie...). But there are a few talented actresses, and slowly there are more accepted plus sized women...

overweight women are found desirable in the black community because they remind black men of their mothers or are motherly-like, i.e. women they can count on to run the household and mind the children. plus black woman are a lot less self conscious than white woman and they feel sexy no matter what size they are. you look at Monique, she is one sexy woman, because she loves her body,she owns it and we respect her for it. you look at a white woman and all she does is try to explain to you how no matter what diet she's on it doesn't work for her.

Rosanne, Rosie O'donnell. Black women are not typically the leading star sex symbols in most blockbuster mainstream movies and shows. They are the cool mom, the hard working woman and the funny lady. To be sexy and the star you must be thin.(in mainstream entertainment.)
