Drivers' Ed?

I need some information. Recently I have been contemplating the idea of taking a drivers' ed class at the local DMV, since my high school couselor couldn't get me into the class at my school for second semester. Is there anything I should be aware of? I know it will cost more than it will at school, but is the class more challengening at the DMV?

I don't know what state you're in. But the same "standard" curriculum should be used in both HS and at a driving school.
