not directly. you'll feel it later when companies have to increase the price of their products to make up the difference between what they were paying their employees and what they have to pay now.

The federal minimum wage has not yet been changed - a bill to increase it passed the House, but was not passed in the Senate, so it can't go to the President for his signature.

Relatively speaking, maybe. A better way to look at it is that last place is gaining on you, Mr. Second-To-Last. Forget concentrating on what others are makng, that doesn't define you. Just reach whatever success you can, either money-wise or otherwise, and be happy. Don't keep that kind of score, you'll drive yourself crazy. Good luck.
