The band is Blind Melon and the song is No Rain. I remember that video and I loved it. I always like the song, but I liked it even better when I saw the video.

The song is "No Rain" by Blind Melon. It was actually a hit song and video in the 90's, maybe around 1993 or 1994.

Blind Melon! Rain, yup... great band. Shannon (the singer ODed on the smack... bummer) There is a disc out with alot of demo stuff that is really great.

Blind Mellon was the band, and it was from the early-mid 1990's..during the grunge/seattle era...
I know Shannon Hoon was the lead singer, who died in his 20's from a heroin overdose...he had a pregnant girlfriend at the time and never made it to see his child born
