How do you cheer yourself up? I really only have one good friend, I just found out all my other friends have been saying really mean things about me behind my back... My dog just died, and I still haven't found my other one that ran away, and my parents hate me... Sorry if I am just complaining, I really just want someone to talk to...

And to make things worse, in these 30 minutes from me posting this question, I was talking with this girl that I really like and she told me she liked me, she told me that she was lying because she felt bad for me... I really feel like crying right about now, lol

Damn, sorry to hear all that. Make some new friends, get a new dog and realize that your parents don't hate you.

I'm sorry about your dog
iI lost mine last oct & it is heartbreaking but you gave it a good life is all you have to remember!!!
ring the pound they may have your dog
I'm sure your parents wouldnt hate you.
Now I'm sure you have heard of Oprah, well she said most people in the world only have one true friend & the others are not what you call real true friends
You need to talk to your Mum or Dad about your problems because they may have been upset at some thing you did or didn't do but they will love you so try talking to them & tell them you are sad mad angry or what ever
all the best to you

I think about all the friends that I have buried(like today). Due to illnesses or accidents. I bet they would love to have another chance at life. You have to BE a friend to have a friend. Don't worry what other people say about you. If what they are saying isn't true...then they are to be pitied, because they seem to not have anything better to do. Everything dies...that is a part of life....better get use to it. I doubt your parents hate you...why do you say that? Is it your behavior...or is it something they are doing that makes you feel they hate you? We all have days when we are down.....it's just important that you snap out of it. Do soemthing that makes you laugh....like a TV show or movie. it should pass unless you dwell on it....DON'T! You are so blessed to be alive.....don't waste it.

Things may turn out bad lately but that doesn't mean it's forever. We all have days like that. lt just a temporary phase.
Life has a lot to offer. Years from now, you'll look back to this day as something most teens go through.
You're strong. Show them.
Best of luck.

Sorry things are going so badly for you. Tomorrow will be another day and things can only get better...right? At least that's what I keep telling myself. I'm sure your parents don't hate you. We all think that at times. They are probably annoyed by things that you do, but they certainly don't hate you. You are their child. No matter how bad things get, we don't hate our kids. Do you have teachers or a neighbor you can talk to. It sounds like you really need someone to just be a sounding board for you...go ahead and complain. WE WILL LISTEN. Keep your chin up kiddo!

hello zack, there was a guy on Y.A. who was about 5'5" and not so pleased with his life today and since you 2 sound so similar, you all should get together or otherwise find some something to do that gives you pleasure and try that for awhile. Exercising is great for the libido and will make you feel much better

you're going thru a phase.
this is the time when you view life and the world as centered in all your actions and what's happening around you.
you need to divert that attention to something else.
1. never worry too much about what your parents think about you, they already understand you, believe me.
2. never worry too much about what your friends or other people say about you, they don't know you. all criticisms good or bad may be based on poor assumptions. you gives bad comments to others yourself from time to time.
3. get a role model. an uncle or so, and spend time with him. see how he handles life. play a game with him and have fun. if its a character like james bond, its ok. go ahead and copy his moves, everybody does that.
4. never be afraid of boarding school. columbus was not afraid to travel the world.
5. learn to really love good music. find those that gives meaning to your life. these will help you get thru several tough times. listen to bob marley.
6. learn something you don't know you could do and brag about it. much better if you would choose that are sporty, get you some exercise.
you see, there are dozens that you could do to wash away bad feelings about yourself.
what you should be doing is preparing yourslef for tougher challenges when you reach the horrible "adulthood".
as you grow old you will face situations that separates boys from the big boys, this is where nobility should prevail inside you. these situation defines your character, defines what kind of man you are.
it is perfectly alright to fail. all great men experienced a sense of failure in their lives as they lived. this where the sword were forged.
i'll tell you one story that tells you why hardships are your secret weapon.
when i was a boy living in a well to do neighborhood, life is simple.
there was a time when a volcano near our region exploded. this made all business establishment to close. food is scarce.
you are so hungry that you will pick up a bit of rice on the floor during dinner, just not to let it go to waste. to make it short we survived the calamity.
when i was studying in college, my friends or classmates noticed that everytime we open a pack of potato chips, i immediately go after those little bits that falls on the table. this has become a habit i have never noticed myself.
they were curious about it but never really asked about it,
one time, a friend made a joke and what he did is spread some potato chips on the table as if feeding a chicken, saying what he notices about me. the others laughed but stopped when they saw me not being happy.
i explained my behaviour, i explained how past experience gave me habits that made me appreciate things that people seldom gave value.
from there on, those classmates became closer than ever.
the point is, people will accept you for what ever you are without trying hard to please them.
civility alone can get you respect.
hang on there, you'll be fine
