I dont want to screw up the thing... what did you do to break yours in? any tips or anything would be great.

Put about 25hours on it then it will be good to go just take it easy though just ride normal then ones u think u have 25hours on it u can ride as hard as u wan't

It is typical to say 500 miles for a break-in period, but there really is not way to tell 500 miles on an ATV, and that could take forever. If you have an hour meter on your ATV, give it about 30 hours at 1/4 throttle or less, 30-60 hours, about 1/2 throttle or less, and after 60 hours, you can go full throttle... Another thing is to keep it at 1/4 throttle until you change the oil, and 1/2 until the next, and then you're good...

I have never had an issue breaking in a new ATV. Don't let it idle too long and no wide open throttle until you change the oil. Time-wise that should be about three hours, change the oil and filter and ride it the way you want to. Enjoy your new ATV.

it should be in your manual, but 2 tanks, 30 hours, 300 miles is when its broken in, thats what mine told me to do or which ever one comes in first, oh and you shouldnt go over have throttle before u break it in
