I lost my alarm clicker and the alarm is engaged on my 2002 Subaru WRX, how can I turn it off? I tried disengaging the battery but once I turn it on again it still goes off. Please help me.

I had exactly the same problem a little while ago, but my alarm is aftermarket if that is any different.

i ended up ripping the wires out of the siren so i could hear myself think, I found the instruction manual and it told me how to disengage the alarm. Do you have a kill switch?? if you do it should be located under the drivers side dash hidden there somewhere. taking out the fuses never worked for me.

My instruction said to turn the key to on, then flick the kill switch to on, which worked.

Your instructions should tell you what to do, otherwise your screwed, i had to tow the car home (55kms).

Disengaging the battery just resets the alarm.

If you still cant figure it out call Subaru

I'm not sure about Subarus, but with some brands all you have to do is manually lock the doors and then unlock the drivers door with the key to shut off the alarm. If it's a factory alarm, the owners manual should have a procedure.
