Oooh, good question. Hard one to. UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Being a HUGE Zeppelin fan, I'll say Stairway to Heaven. The air play alone has surpassed 50 years worth of actual time, almost everyone knows it, even children. They may not know who it is or what he's yelling about but they've heard it. It's a ten minute story of hope and it's just a really cool song that over 30 years after it's creation, still get's huge air time.

Many people are going to be saying modern songs. But none of these will be around 5 years from now, let alone 30. Zep will be. I work with children. We were out camping one day and were asking what their fav songs were. Stairway was the popular choice.
