I really need help with this question on my homework, I'm not so good in science. : )

The difference I think you're looking for is that radiation heat transfer needs no intervening medium to transfer the heat, while conduction and convection do.

Radiation heat transfer is proportional to the difference of temperatures each to the 4th power, while for conduction and convection its proportional the temperature difference.

The main difference is that heat transfer by radiation is that it requires no medium.
Both convection and conduction require a medium to transfer the heat through:

Convection needs air.
conduction needs physical contact.

Conduction and convection need a medium for the transmission of heat but radiation is the only process taking place without the help of any medium.
