Good question...I'll be looking back at answers on this one myself. Just like, where can you find a good music lyric search online that enables you to search for a song by title, artist, album OR phrase. (lyrics world USED to be this way, but not any more). BTW, anyone that knows the answer to THAT one can email me. It's enabled. And good luck.

Try
http://music.download.com/?tag=navtab
and
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Music-Downloads/b/ref=sv_m_7/104-4706847-4154329?ie=UTF8&node=468646
or if the amazon link doesn't work, search for "Free Music Downloads" under "Music" at
http://www.amazon.com/
I'm guessing the free music is largely by independent artists and bands who are trying to become established, but they may be worth checking out.

Yahoo Radio: http://launch.yahoo.com - you can create a completly customized radio station there. You already have a Yahoo ID (the same username you used to post this question would be your login there).

I like Pandora.com
You enter a song or band you like and it will pick other things you may like from their universe of stuff.
