Do you balance you own check book?

I do my own and my hubbys. the bank i go to offers it as a service... do people really not know how to do such a thing?

I balance my own,but my sister works at a local bank and she talks about many that don't know how. I don't understand..

Yes I do. My husband and I have an account at 2 different banks. His paycheck goes in the one he manages and my paycheck goes in the account I manage. We both can withdraw $$ or write a check on both accounts if need be but we just keep track of our own. Sure makes it a lot easier and eliminates arguments!

Yes. When I worked at a bank, I heard things like, "I can't be overdrawn, I still have checks left!"
