Can anybody give as many sites as possible on the rebellion of samurai and daimyo or plain information

The Shoguns back then were the real power since the emperor was pretty much locked in his palace since he was so protected.
The Samurai Rebellion happened because the Americans started to trade with Japan, which started a development in economy since they opened their ports to traders.Since that happened the samurai rebellion began i think. It Happened in 1853 i think and the samurai came to an end. The Japanese though before trading with the Americans were locked down to outside people which prevented the British Colonization which was happening in Honk Kong China and India also surrounding countries.
