Literary devices are techniques that writers use to capture the reader's attention, describe, and explain their perspective. Literary devices include foreshadowing, use of symbols, flashback, characterization, similes, metaphors, alliteration, dialogue, dialect and many others.Without these devices writing would lack any creativity and be dry as dust to read.

every one is entitled to an opinion. every work that you peruse is one person's opinion. many are able to put it out there for other people to asses or evaluate.

that is the primary purpose of literary devices. many of these attempts at opinion do reap rewards that could be anywhere from a simple thank you, to admiration, to fame and fortune.
