I am 12 weeks and when i was 6 weeks and 1 day i had an ultrasound that showed heartrate of 126 bpm...the u/s tech said it was good...i will hear my babys heartbeat for the first time next week,but wanted to know if this heartbeat was too slow for 6 weeks and should it of gotten stronger since then? thank you

no not at all the farther alnog you get the faster it will get until i say about 6 months or so. good luck

I just talked to the doc today and he said anything under 140 would cause concern but your just able to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks so they may not be accurate and the baby just could have bradycardia which is a slow heart beat....as long as you have a heartbeat i wouldnt worry

it's fine the myth is you'll be having a boy and it was right last time but in this pregnancy it's been in the 160's usually they say girl but I'm having a boy so even though it was right with my other 4 it wasn't this time.

no it is fine. it is not a proven fact but a heart beat 130 beats a minut or less is a sighn its a boy. and if it is 150 heart beats or more it is a sign that it may be a girl. good luck.

at 15 weeks my babys was like 135 since then i haven't asked.
