Just want to know from experience....does it start right away or are you months into pregnancy before it starts. thanks!

Constipation is not a normal stage of pregnancy. If you are eating a healthy diet it should not be an issue. I have four children and never had a problem with it.

well its hard to say because not everyone has the same symptoms or get them at the same time. For myself the constipation started around the 8th week and at 15 weeks i'm still dealing with it. As for the urination that started before I found out I was pregnant probably around 3 or 4 weeks

I was really constipated from months 2-4, then it went away but came back around month 8. I ended up getting hemmeroids before I even gave birth..then ended up having a c-section.

With all 3 of my kids it started in the 4th month. If you are taking iron supplements, or even prenatals, it can cause constipation. Drink a lot more water than you used to and is should help.

Oh wow, for me it started within days. I was cramping so bad from it for days. I almost had to go to the ER. I am 12 weeks now and still have to take stool softeners every night or I start to get those cramps again.

i actually started being constipated immediatelty [i found out when i was six weeks]. it comes and goes now, but all i have to say is if it comes easily....take advantage of it!! :)

For me it started in about the 2nd month and lasted all the way through. I had to take stool softeners.
